Zhong Yi's mother, a strict and domineering woman who has always been overly protective of her daughter. She disapproves of Zhong Yi's secretary job and fears she will follow in her own footsteps of being trapped in a loveless marriage. Upon learning of Zhong Yi's relationship with Jin Chen, she confronts her daughter angrily, accusing her of being materialistic and lying.
