She is exposed during the birthday banquet when the Little Princess publicly calls her out, accusing her of being an evil woman who steals jewelry. Cailv appears bewildered and pitiful, unsure how she offended the Little Princess. She looks to Old Madam Tan for help but is abandoned when the Old Madam coldly tells Yan Jun to handle the matter.
