Also known as Yunniang or Xuan Ge'er's mother. She was previously married and abandoned by her first husband for failing to bear children for seven years. She returned to her parents' home where she was mistreated by her brother and sister-in-law, doing embroidery work daily. Sun Ying intervened when he saw her being beaten by her mother and they eventually married. She became pregnant less than three months after marrying Sun Ying, giving birth to Xuan Ge'er. It was later revealed her first husband was the infertile one.
