Also known as Aunt Cai, she is Cai Fulai's mother. She was originally from the wealthy Bei family and lived in the Prince Bei residence. After being driven out and harassed by local thugs, she remarried Old He in a borrowed seed arrangement to have a male presence in the household. Her cousin later betrayed her family, stripping them of everything in 1940. She died approximately two years before the current events.
