The person whom Bian Yao is avenging. A memorial tablet with Bian Rang's inscription is pulled from Bian Yao's chest after he kills his target. Bian Yao kneels and declares 'Grandson has avenged you!' indicating a close familial or master-servant relationship with Bian Rang.
