A boy nicknamed 'Baofan' (meaning rice-bag/eat-fill) because he only cares about eating. He appears simple-minded and dull-faced but shows intelligence and good manners at times. He wears fine cotton clothes unlike a laborer and has a small golden locket around his neck. Qi Erniang claims he is her adopted orphan, but she is nervous about him and clearly hiding his true identity.
