A monk at Mingde Temple who plays Go with Xie Wanyu in the back garden. He believes the Emperor's favoring of Yu Ning is sincere and genuine. He advises Xie Wanyu not to interfere too much in her sister's destiny. Xie Wanyu calls him a hypocritical monk without compassion. He is calm and philosophical in his demeanor.
