Aunt Ai Ping is a female character who lives on the plot of land next to where Qi Bai works. She is Mu Chuan's aunt and is very observant, noticing immediately when Mu Chuan ran to Meng Wanshu with a dark face that something was wrong. She knows her nephew's personality well — that he avoids trouble and stays away from the opposite sex — which is why she was almost certain that something had happened to Jiang Yule. She is concerned and eager to check on Jiang Yule's condition, wanting to rush home immediately upon hearing about the injury. She is described as somewhat absent-minded while continuing her work after being persuaded by Qi Bai to wait until after work. In the evening, she rushed to Jiang Yule's house to ask about her well-being, and Mu Chuan had to come out and take her away.
