He is considerate, bringing Hime a beautifully wrapped kimono before entering Kyoto and pinning a wisteria hair ornament into her hair. He is calm and well-traveled, silently gazing at Hime with inscrutable emotions. He feels a sense of loss when Sawo interacts closely with Hime and smiles bitterly, finding Sawei-kun enviable.
