A noble title holder whose family is related by marriage to Minister Wang. He visited Xie Shulin late at night with several large chests of silver that turned out to be illicit funds from Minister Wang. He pleaded with Xie Shulin to help return the money to Governor Su Jing'an, offering a miracle doctor as a side bribe. He was relieved when Xie Shulin seemed to accept but was actually being used to recover the silver for the imperial treasury.
