An Zhe is a five-year-old boy and the biological son of Movie Emperor Shen, though he is raised by his mother An Shijiu in a poor residential area. He has pitch-black eyes that are usually half-lowered, carrying deep vigilance and resistance from years of abuse. His eyelashes can clump together with tears, and his eyes sometimes appear red from crying. Despite his young age, An Zhe is intelligent, observant, and highly capable of hiding his true emotions. Having witnessed countless scenes of his mother being abused by Li Dong, he has learned to endure pain silently without crying loudly like other children. However, his emotional walls crack when he watches his mother suddenly fight back, leading to an outpouring of tears as he clings to her leg, terrified of losing her. At kindergarten, he is frequently bullied by Li Shuai but has one friend in his deskmate Xing Rumei.
