An Xian is the daughter of the professor who leads Qiu Sui's research project. She is described as a wealthy and beautiful young woman who is also highly educated. She wears a deep purple dress that looks elegant and noble on her, though on most people that dress might look old-fashioned and severe. She first met Yu Dongxi at a dinner party organized by her father to celebrate the successful completion of the project. At that dinner, besides project members, only An Xian and Yu Dongxi were present as outsiders. Qiu Sui had explained to Yu Dongxi that she would enter his social circle sooner or later. An Xian encounters Yu Dongxi again at H University in an awkward situation, where Yu Dongxi and Luo Yao had tried to enter the university for a lawn music festival but Yu Dongxi had forgotten her ID card.
