Ruan Shujin's husband of 25 years, the primary antagonist. He has been secretly supporting Zheng Shuya and her daughter for years, considering it atonement for sins Ruan Shujin supposedly owed Zheng Shuya. He slapped Ruan Shujin at the anniversary dinner and demanded she take care of the paralyzed Zheng Shuya. His heart never held any place for Ruan Shujin despite her years of devotion and hard work.
