An Ning's adoptive father. He became furious when An Ning refused to continue the engagement with Zhao Chengyuan. He slapped An Ning hard on the face, causing her cheek to swell, and told her to get out and never come back. He is abusive and cares more about family face and his son's interests than An Ning's wellbeing.
