The sun goddess in Japanese mythology, ruler of Takamagahara (the High Plain of Heaven), and the divine ancestor of the Japanese imperial line. Shichiya assumes this identity in the Demon Slayer world. She is described as a goddess connected to sunlight, able to see all that happens in sunlight. In Fate lore, Tamamo-no-Mae is considered a manifestation or divine fragment of Amaterasu.
