Ngl, but the grandfather final moments were epic af. It was the only thing making me stick to the story until the arc where they start the War with that other World or something
Just to be brutally honest... it's an ok novel.
No wow factor, no new flavor, nothing. It's giving "generic". It depends whether you find "generic" a (+) or (-). In some ways it is somewhat predictable, from the plot to the characters (their personalities).
Characterization could use more work to make the characters feel more "real" (subjectively speaking). Perhaps I'm just tired with the tropes used in this novel given how common these elements are to the point that I must say it's overused. I can't tolerate some illogical aspects (narrative wise).
Author needs further development in the aspect of conceptualization, so as to avoid resorting to incorporating cliché. I need more layers to the plot, characters, and overall elements of the narrative. This may have potential, but serious work needs to be done.
To summarize, I find this novel no different than the tens of the same genre and plot... average. It's not bad but it is definitely lacking in some key aspects.

I don't understand in volume 1 chapter 5 and 6 you have the MC fighting Debra. Now you keep reffering to them as her than he and keep saying bastard this and bastard that. Now is the bad guy a male or female, it is confussing to read when it keeps changing like that

Well, maybe if you started with chapter 1 book 1 and moved ahead it would be easierAlso realise this is a translation not a novel natively written in English so the sentence structure will also reflect that.
How this novel isn't popular is beyond me. Its a fantastic kingdom building novel. Give it a try!
The best thing in this novel is the most mundane moments. i.e. him getting a girlfriend, their dating days, his college life, eating food with friends.
Yes, this story is not about how the loser turn into a prince charming. It's about how the loser lived his life when he turned into price charming and that story may be boring but its incredibly real.
