give me cultivation novel recommendations.
I've tried to solider through these 39 chapters, but it's literally been hell. Heck I'd rather go through what the mc went through then to continue on with this bs. I don't expect the mc to hit his mom or even disrespect her, but there are boundaries that should be made especially with him being an adult. His real age is maybe in the thousands, but it's all wasted because he acts like an idiot doormat. Thousands of years and he has no backbone, it's the cliche mother suddenly becomes overpowered when she gets angry and the mc despite being a thousand year old sorcerer bends to her very whim. Like I said I don't want him to hit or disrespect her, but this is disappointing behavior from a literal THOUSAND year old SORCERER who waged war on a whole world/planet.
Right, there is that. For me it wasn't the main issue though, and while it's hard to create original content these days, here it was pretty much copying familiar stories and scenarios for what's been popular the last 20 years or so for writing all of the tales (scenario arcs), which kinda makes sense if you look at it as a fanservice to the original writers/creators. And while I wasn't enjoying every one of those arcs, I was more upset about the 'fan service' to the (changing?) audience of this story, where the main plot line was increasingly interrupted and populated by ever more irrelevant female characters, which made me question the target group of this novel.
But the light novel was superior imo
I still remember this coursed novel it's almost game me the feeling of watching One Punch Man while the MC is not Saitama but The King this time around. ?

The BL aspect was commendable, but the plot felt predictable to me. I could anticipate the main character's journey almost from the beginning, despite enjoying the revelations from his previous life.

Is it good?, i read about 12 chapter well i plan to reread this if it good but you know my gut always saying no to 18+ and sh*t but mybe it's good. Oh and a little bit of family matter is fine if you know what i mean.1??
