Wah how u know
Reading this leaves a bitter taste. This is supposed to be a romance novel, but after 50 chapters and an early marriage, the romance is barely noticeable. The main character (MC) is literally blind and has faced harsh societal challenges alone after getting married, enduring reputation slanders and a lonely married life.
The male lead (ML) maintains a cold attitude and dismisses the MC when she shows kindness. He only provides her with food, housing, and occasional material things. When the ML's aunt accused the MC of being promiscuous, he didn’t defend her reputation, merely stating that his marriage is his business without addressing the damage to the MC’s name. Additionally, the MC's half-sister has spread rumors about her among all the ML's relatives, and all the ML has done is issue a verbal warning to the culprit.
After they consummated their marriage, the ML didn’t even stay with her the next morning. He left her to be cared for by the servants while he went to have breakfast. Notable events before that included him seeing the MC's body twice. After 50 chapters, it feels like the MC only matters to him when it’s time for intimacy. All the good things the ML has done, such as picking her up when her service car broke down and arranging a guide dog for her, were actually instructions from his mother or friends.
, the lack of romance and the MC's mistreatment make this a disappointing read. Also, the fan translations on the site are poorly done, adding to the frustration.
The novel has several positive aspects, such as the engaging protagonist, well-developed world, relatable supporting characters, and intriguing antagonists. However, the ABO (Alpha/Beta/Omega) aspect feels somewhat artificial or imposed. The narrative occasionally relies too heavily on explicit explanations rather than immersive storytelling, which can make certain sections feel like dry, descriptive prose. Despite this, the overall quality of the book is commendable.
If you blend a common harem setup but push the characters to extreme unhappiness with a tinge of hope, this novel emerges. The narrative itself is decent and takes an engaging turn when the focus shifts to the mysterious world and its system. The characters are passable, though they lean towards stereotypes, featuring a pure-hearted protagonist, a headstrong heroine, a slave who falls for their benevolent master, and a clueless goddess. Emotional moments are well-rendered, eliciting tears initially, but overuse eventually numbed my sensitivity. Character interactions are mostly driven by anger, guilt, and caring, which start off entertaining but become tiresome with repetition. Action scenes lack depth, and character powers remain unclear.
However, there's one character, Serena, the MC's fiancée, who stands out, lifting my rating by a star. Her dynamic with the MC contrasts with the others, showcasing her genuine genius and commitment. She actively involves the MC in her plans, even helping without causing harm, unlike others who operate in secret and plot against him. Serena is straightforward with her feelings, and her presence adds a refreshing touch to the story.
The novel has its highs and lows; I found myself dozing off occasionally but equally captivated at other moments. In summary, while there are commendable aspects, the book contains dull and frustrating sections too. Overall, a mixed bag with moments of genuine interest.
yeah but they managed to rise up again and japan became a us puppet
it well progress a lot around chapter 600
Sorry but i can't mention other sites' names, it's pretty famous though
As my first ff that I have read (yes, I am not bullshitting), this statement dropped my hopes of ffs
.
This novel, in my honest opinion, have bunch of times where the character was doing something that contradicted their canon personality in the early parts, it get better though
The most biggest mistake was deleting 2 romance interest without giving any concrete explanation, other than that it's okay
please improve your translator....
Chapter 57, I just can't get into it for some reason.
>Girl falls in love
> Erthe: 'Goodbye'
Amazing story nice and cute character. Somewhat funny, emotional, little bit mysterious.
