The Extermination arc stands out as one of the most captivating storylines I've come across recently – a spoiler alert, but readers will understand what I mean.

While there's speculation about whether he's an unreliable narrator or simply mischievous with his twin, his actions consistently revolve around self-interest. He's ruthless, cunning, and shamelessly ambitious – what more could you want?
World Development: 4.5 OUT OF 5. The world-building is solid, introducing a dynasty rebellion early on, leaving ample room for the original author to expand and deepen the setting as the story progresses.
I completed it in one sitting, but my mistake was not reading the warnings. I dove in headfirst after just reading the title. Around Chapter 40, I realized the writing style was familiar and then discovered it was part of the 188 series. I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry – I've almost read everything by SQC and needed a break from the intense emotions, yet here I was. Hahaha! Despite the potentially toxic nature of her stories, I adore them, and "Little Poplar" remains my favorite. That particular tale had me hooked.
The book was an enjoyable read regardless of its various themes, be it angst, pain, heartache, or happiness. I genuinely loved it. While reading SQC's works, there were moments where I felt emotionally drained, wishing for the characters to confront each other. It's that depth that makes these stories captivating. However, my only gripe was that the villains didn't receive their comeuppance, especially that deranged cousin of Mo Yu. I was quite disappointed. I even wanted to call out Qin Father for his despicable actions.
Aside from that, I empathized deeply with Qiuci, my dear munchkin, baby, and darling. I just wanted to protect my precious dumpling. Grrrr... Rawwww... Grrrrrrrrrr!
P.S. If you're into extreme angsty reads, give this a shot. If not, it might not be your cup of tea. Don't even consider starting if you're prone to negative reviews. Remember to read the tags, guys, and also consider the author's style. ???

2-3/5. If you turn your brain off and read it, it’s somewhat enjoyable. The gimmick and concept of buying buildings to expand your territory in the other dimension, literally gets abandoned and never brought back up again not even halfway in. It’s sad because it was probably the only thing separating it from other power fantasies korean novels. Be aware that towards the last 30-40 chapters the author slams the gas peddles and spoon feeds mc power ups just to finish the story.
