The story keeps getting better and better. I like the fact that the MC has more missions in the same mission worlds unlike one world per mission. It gives author the chance to develop the world background. The side characters are unlike other cliche novels, where anybody can become the MC's friend only because they were their and had a good character. Also unlike other novels where side characters are all generic, the side characters in Devil's Cage and varied with depth to them. For example: The great witch, the alchemist, the lover in the SHAMAN WORLD.The historian, the muscle guy, historian's disciples in the ISOGU WORLD. The little dependent princess in another world.And many more.Also, the MC is always deducing and searching for clues which gives him a detective kind of style which seems much better than the guy in "Thriller Paradise".
Overall thebquality of the translation is ok, the world's background is interesting, there are some dialogues with some prejudices and "racist" remarks but anyone with *****'s reasoning would understand it on the context they were made, and the MC is a little more low key and mindful although when he needs to draw blood, he's cold, ruthless and even vicious. The novel has one great flaw and it's the lack if regularity in the chapters releases. So far is you don't like realistic-ish MC with a relativistic morality then my suggestion is to stay away from this novel. If you like carefree path if dreams, evil magus in another world, reverend insanity and so the you may like to read this novel...
excellent novel. Translation is really good and update regularly. I love the story but the side character development suck. The world however is well thought and interesting. The only problem i see in this novel is the way martial skills handled, its confusing and repeating the same thing over and over with just difference name and slight change in apparent, ex: grey gas, purple gas, pink gas, black gas, rainbow gas, blue gas, diesel, white gas, green gas, azure gas, etc...
Its a real shame that this books translation Takes a huge dive the moment you get to the paid chapters. Dont waste your time here once you get to the paid chapters names staRt changing from sentence to sentence it really makes it difficult to folloW
The first two chapters are so-so, but dont let that fool you or dissuade. By the third chapter the prologue is done and plot shows up...hard. its a good read that sucks u in. A brief forboding of a time skip happens later but it isnt actually a time skip. Confusing. But this novel is great. Must read for xianxia lovers.
Another trash generic novel, the story is used to waste your time and is a reason that good stories like im the mc but why do i suck at cultivation that are different and better don't get selected. Basically strong dad+child+everybodythinksmcisweak.org. FFS just read genius daddy it's all the same. I am really pissed off by webnovel just translating these 60 chaps because they can translate some that are genuinely good.
