please re-edit this
So far its good...
This is a really good novel in this genre. While there are many novels with similar plots that take things too far, the main characters in this one have excellent development. What I particularly appreciate about this novel is the absence of world hopping. Most books in this genre either involve traveling between worlds or feature multiple protagonists from different stories in the same universe. However, this novel avoids all that nonsense, which I genuinely enjoy. So, I’m giving it a 5.
(Spoiler: There is some foreshadowing in Chapter 219 suggesting that there might be other protagonists from different novels in the same world. It mentions, "Besides Ye Feng, there are many protagonists in this world. For example, *The Cultivating Immortal's Rebirth in the Flower City*, *The Return of the Venerable Immortal in the Flower City*, etc...")
I hope they don’t go down that route because it’s really good as it is. Stick to one story, please. You already have more than six main characters.
The writing is excellent, and the translation is top-notch as well. My only minor concern would be the slow pace of updates. The story balances well between lighthearted and poignant moments, with a realistic touch. The portrayal of the emperor's harem reflects a deeper dynamic – the women are not solely focused on securing his favor, but rather using it as a means to foster alliances and advance their individual interests. The conflicts among them stem from strategic considerations, not simply jealousy or ill-conceived romance.
I'm at 1530 but it shouldn't be too far off maybe another 300 max from the present latest chapter
You’re acting like he wasn’t a human from earth in the beginning. Your argument doesn’t make sense and I get that it’s a different world and they have different styles of living but HE ISNT FROM THAT WORLD. And also delving into the whole consuming things makes my mind more numb thing is a lame excuse that still didn’t matter in that situation because he had barley killed anything in the first few chapters. Listen I’m not trying to argue with someone who has separate “personas” online. Go have fun reading your 8th grade complex stories
where do I continue from after reading chapter 86 ?
