The Author is just having fun. There are some really great stories. In the Travel Arc, they bring all to Harems Moms and Dads to Tortus and experience Hajime Journey. It is really good stuff. You have a story are on a non Harem member clearing a dungeon, funny stuff. Date Night with the Broke Rabbit. Just some stuff, when you do not want to read a whole story that you can chill for an hour on, and come back later.

The little girl character is simply adorable – a true loli delight! But alas, the story unfortunately has its fair share of filler content that might be amusing at times but detracts from the overall experience.
Despite the reliance on the system, the author doesn't make the main character overly reliant on it. They mainly use it for pivotal moments, maintaining a balance that keeps the protagonist from becoming too overpowered. This is refreshing compared to other system novels where the MC easily becomes omniscient.
In this particular story, what stands out is its unique twist – a "superstar-like" system that chooses the hidden boss route instead of fame. It adds an intriguing angle to the narrative. However, the author could have done more to advance the plot without resorting to excessive storytelling or involving the wife in the cultivation world. A well-planned progression and wise use of the system could have made the protagonist a peerless genius without needing such extravagant measures.
In summary, the story is enjoyable up until around chapter 750, offering a satisfying tale of happiness with friends and family. Unfortunately, the last 100 chapters fall short, leaving a disappointing ending. If you're willing to overlook that, the first part is definitely worth reading.

In almost every chapter you have dialogs like this:
-"How about all of you first announce your name?" Melody said telling them to reveal their names to her.
"Alright. "
Vincent, John, Iris, Varth, Leilani, and Nevis revealed their names to the fairy, taking several seconds to do so. -
You often have a lengthy exposition to a topic, then somebody mentions it in almost the same words and then you get a reply often in the same style. So you read the same words 3 times in a row. The example above is just one without spoilers, but once you notice this pattern, it gets exhausting to read.
Also, dialogues are far too "detailed". Where a normal, short answer would be the norm and perfectly fine, here you have long answers with all the details so the conversations dont "feel" like conversations normal people would have.

Came back here after seeing that a comment of mine from an year ago was getting some activity. It seems that people from an year ago actually had decent taste and knew this novel is mediocre. If you really want to read progressive fantasy with power creep, just read Swallowed Star, which is actually decent. It's honestly surprising seeing people say that they liked the novel, it's like they haven't read anything better.
