This is an awesome book!! Smart and cautious MC, who thinks through a his actions!! Very likeable, and the plot of the story moves at decent pace. Not super fast like some of the recent garbage novels, rather the pacing is reminiscent of the old classic webnovels! Love it!!

I wonder why so much people hate racism in chinese novels (I mean, most people fine with racism in JP/EN novels) and in same time they enjoy movies such as Rambo.

As I caught up to human translation of skyfarrow, I thought might as well check out some
Lnmtl as I waited and waited and am around c100 but i do have to say that it just gets better and better as you read along and is absolutely worth checking out.
The mc is cool, and the story progression is great and we even see bits and pieces of clan politics and the like, I plan to stick with HTl for, no matter how easy lnmtl is confirmation of what I read with htl is great.
The only downside that I still have is that qidian still will not suck and admit that they made a mistake and alter the title to Daoist Gu or Reverend Insanity but whatever at least we got a good mtl'er instead of that wuxiadream trash.
This novel is not good. The translator is solid and released 80 chapters at once, but I don't have the willpower to finish them all at once. This is something you should read slowly otherwise you'll see too many of it's flaws and start puking.
There are many reasons why it sucks, but I'll only go over a few (and it's one "saving grace" if you can call it that.
First: The Transmigration
This was done horribly, we don't know much about where he came from or who he was. He just mentions it a few times that he is a "transcender" with two souls so he is twice as powerful at the same level of another person. Aside from that though, what do we know? What the hell was the purpose of this??? '
Second: The Mother
She doesn't have much reason to exist other than giving our Main Character a reason to get stronger. We know basically nothing about her. She is a literal unfeeling uncaring plot point and it's scary.
Third: The Econonomy
It makes no sense. I don't know what else to say. It makes literally 0 sense. I feel like, by the time I get to chapter 80, things are gonna cost well into the trillions for stuff like food. The price scaling is ridiculous and hurts my brain. In the same vein as that though, school is free... but apparently, you learn basically nothing and all that matters is catching them all- I mean being a beastmaster.
Fourth: Worldbuilding
There is none. There is literally no worldbuilding aside from this: The world is called mercury and suddenly spacial holes opened up and out came monsters. There is some sort of alliance between nations that share a common currency. Also kids can enter a dangerous wormhole into a different world for some reason.
Yeah it's pretty bad, but lets got onto the "saving grace" : The Main Character
He appears to be intentionally made flawed and seems like he's going to be given a character arc, in which he'll change and stop being such an ass towards the FL. He isn't great by any means, and the other characters are pretty bland hoping he dies for seemingly no reason but he is the best part of this. Oh and that includes the fights and everything so far. I'm being serious. My rating is only high because of the translator, read this if you like pokemon, super gene or monster paradise. If not then, don't
The best wuxia i have read so far. The world is interesting, the MC is not cliched, he has NO harem, the author DOES NOT constantly harass the reader repeating that the MC is smart, brave, unrestrained, cool, handsome, unparallaled and all that sh*t, every female char he meets DOES NOT fall head over heels as soon as he moves his little finger, the MC is actually capable of planning in advance and shut up when the situation requires it instead of relying on plot holes and ridiculous armor plots.

a solid 5 stars for this book, got me tearing up in less than 5 chapters in, absolutely beautiful how you portray the emotions of the characters,giving them depth as if they were not characters in a book but actual humans, will be writing a subsequent review as the novel progresses
