Oh...my...this is too good! Can’t wait for more updates
Book is very engrossing
Ok I love this story line. It is reading true to life. There is no super power. No out of this world stuff. What I have read so far is very possible. Love this. This the only story I am going to read. Not going to thousand of chapters and not get to truth’s. Keep up the good work.
Time to play the hero gentlemen

omg what a great shocking ending! on to book 2
I'm enjoying this story so far.
Love it!!! Jane is my favourite author, the cross overs between stories- makes everything amazing and so complete!
Let me just talk about the scene where Su Wanwan finds Lin Yu cooking. The image of this sharp, focused young man reading a martial arts novel while stirring a pot—until he pours in way too much soy sauce and creates this "pitch black—practically nightmare fuel" mess. This is the kind of detail that makes a world feel lived-in. It's not just about the setting; it's about the texture of daily life. The small courtyard, the simple stove built under the eaves, the pot bubbling over. You can smell the burnt soy sauce. You can hear the dog barking. And then Su Wanwan immediately spots the book and her mind starts racing about novel serialization and manuscript fees. The way the author moves from this domestic, almost comedic scene into Su Wanwan's strategic thinking about her future is seamless. But the scene that stays with me most is Xie Beishen's room. "A single bed, a wardrobe, a desk, two chairs, and several clean shoes neatly placed under the bed. Everything spotless and orderly." This one sentence tells us everything about who this man is. He's disciplined, private, meticulous. And then Su Wanwan's gaze drifts to his hands—"long-fingered, strong joints. His rolled-up shirt sleeves revealed muscular arms, brimming with strength." The contrast between his austere living space and the physical presence she notices is so well done. The world of this novel feels real because the author doesn't just describe grand settings—they describe the intimate spaces where characters actually live. The educated youth village, the side paths, the small courtyards, the dorms. Every location has weight and specificity.
How is this being written? English cannot be your first language…and if it is, wow!!! You need an editor. The plot doesn’t really make sense. How can the most powerful and strong man be so stupid? Most ppl know that the more powerful you are the more enemies you have and you won’t be trusting.
