It was enjoyable and a good read until nationalism rears its ugly head.
How come most modern novels from Qidian contains xenophobia and nationalism? And, the thing which boggles the mind is how unapologetic they are for being hard core china-numbah-wan-bully.
Great translation and update stability. Very poor character design and world background.
Shame with the xenophobia and nationalism.
Dear COOK COMPASS, you can cook in my DROPPED section.
Am a Christian, but a Sociology and anthropology graduate I have read about religions of the world but this storyline really gave me a insight about this religion. It is very interesting and I would love to know what become of the temple and the monk.... Pls don't keep us waiting
Tried it because of the synopsis but the actual novel is a totally different one. More like a copy of a already existing novel
Lot of chapter ... that's about it.
One of the worst translation i ever seen. There is a mistake e v e r y paragraph, and i'm not talking about orthograph, we are talking about missing negation, wrong word, confusion on his own strenght realms...
Last one i have seen was confusing 'prison' and 'poison'... I wouldn't have guessed if not for the comments.
If this mc turns out to be cold ruthless and calculating then we might have a similarity to warlock of magus world.
Which would be a good thing cuz that was a good novel. Long story short if he goes bad with good reason miggt be good
Goes bad with stupid reason and the author screws a good plot
Goes bad properly turns good.
Half-asses it and it turns crappy
Well cheerio
Ps. I haven't actually read the book yet but looking forward to it
Not recommended, the MC are stupid + arrogant
Just reading alone makes you feel like a duck sitting on the fence

Total Score: 2.4
It is one of the best novel i have read mc is overpowered and development of world is perfect
The story lives up to its low expectations. It is set at a nice pace for the protagonist to get stronger, and I wouldn't say the story is bad by any means. It's a decent feel good novel with its own unique setting. The only issue is that around chapter 170 the quality of editing drops sharply and without any context from the prior chapters before that point, any reader would have a hard time understanding what's happening. overall a 2.6 as my rating states.
Very fast pacing, short chapters and introducing gods into the mc's sphere in the 40 chapters, he obtains a very broken item/soul that gives him a quest to destroy a guild because why not and literally gives him a 2x multiplier on all his skills, like what we have been introduced to a goddessnd in 10 chapter just gets killed for a gods vs gods plot that author is setting up with the mc being a lvl 10 player
Informative and useful especially for new authors like me. Most of the topics are well tackled and thoroughly explained. If you're thinking or starting to write a novel, you might want to check these guides first.
When reading this novel it can't be helped that you will compare it with IRAS
If only compared with IRAS you will see that :
- The MC isn't as likable as Zhang Ye(And Zhang Ye is infuriating sometimes)
-The "Funny" part isn't that funny
-The antagonists are even worse
-The reactions from the audience sucks(You don't really feel them enjoying it feels very mechanical)
But the story isn't that bad, is pretty average it just doesn't have anything that standout(India setup maybe?)
Maybe is my fault for expecting more
Oh and at least till I've read it, there is no racism, which is a good point
But really the antagonists manages to be even pettier than in IRAS(which is quite a feat by itself)
