Overall , I think this is a story with lots of potential
When I first started out on this book I had it was because I was just getting into nonhuman characters. Now I can’t help be reread the book since I forgot most of it(oops)

There’s just the right amount of drama to keep things interesting without feeling over the top. The balance between romantic moments and character development is perfect.
There is no satisfaction reading this novel. Every victory is immediatelly followed by more defeats. It's very methodical, like the author wants to keep the balance 100% of the time (especially when it's a war). It doesn't work like this, war is chaos. It's not a turn based game where one side acts, then the other. Over and over and over and over.
