Ok writing quality is very good. There's few mistakes throughout the novel and the diversity of words is better than most of the novels in this platformStory development is good at most due to the unique setting. The system is bothersome like many other system novels. Stats and skills generally take up numerous pages. There's a tad of mystery in this novel but rather than being in suspense, eagerly looking forward to the next reveal, I feel myself slogging through some chapters and being slightly frustrated at the pace. I can see the hints and foreshowing and can feel the story building up continuously... and then it became premium so I can't enjoy the greater parts of the novel. My rating is based solely on the beginning on the novel before premium so don't be discouraged from continuing on if you can afford the coins.Character development is probably the worse part of this novel's start. Some interactions feel like a cheap xianxia, some characters feel unrealistic as they literally don't have a moral compass/ they have an ego as large as the world itself... At the very beginning, I thought that the novel would follow in the footsteps of xianxia novels with the way that they portray their MC and side characters: dumb and dumber. But it was salvaged as the MC feels smarter afterwards. But that's not how the MC should have acted according to his experience. The main character doesn't display the mentality of a person that has been through lots of fights and death itself, just like many other novels of the same genre. He is naive and doesn't think about the effect his actions could have at times, but is evidently better in the sense that he doesn't pick fights outright. And he has a needlessly loud mouth. Isn't he afraid of attracting attention or revealing sensitive information ? World background is interesting . A mix and match of common themes giving a beautiful balance. Sci-fi + apocalypse + game elements fits nicely.I started this novel because of its high ratings but it should be rated 4.2 at best. I'm an avid reader of mystery, fantasy and action novels (mostly Western books) so I can say that... The story doesn't flow that well, at least for an experienced reader. But for a first timer, it's a nice read, especially the writing quality and setting and the improvements. I'm giving a 3 since the novel went premium before I could really enjoy it.
This novel is a literal copy of My Wife is a beautiful CEO. Even some of the characters are directly lifted from there. Plot is also very similar but the language is way worse
There are probably about 3 or 4 novels I'm reading or have read with this kind of premise and are way better than this one. [Whenever I see novels with exact/same premise/themes I often wonder if it's like this kind of premise was made as a theme for a writing contest and the best ones would be the winner. Clearly this one was one of those that DID NOT make it to top 10. ]
Loving the characters and the fact that it does what it says and doesn't have random stuff unrelated happening as of yet up to chap 55 rn. although there are a lot of new characters they are at least given background or storyboarding to their person quickly and feel like part of the main cast quickly
Really like this story (I'm lovin' it). MC is a gal doing her best to survive in a sequence of post-apocalyptic worlds. Story begins at McDonald's where MC confides in her BFF that her boyfriend is probably trying to kill her/is dangerous. Then the apocalypse (temperatures above what humans can naturally survive, hence her world is called Hyperthermal Hell) for her world descends that night, and she ends up killing her BF, who was trying to literally eat her in a not fun way, with her Post-Human abilities that she recently got. She tried to help her BFF, but found her "dead" before she arrived, and she runs into others (first companions) who have been through other New Worlds, and they give her a run-down on what they know. The multiverse is going through a sequence of Post-Worlds where suddenly an apocalypse descends and forces humans to adapt into Post-Humans (they develop various passive and active abilities to aid in their survival and thriving of the New World phenomenon), perish, or "die" and turn into a "duoluozong" (ex-humans that only retain the negative aspects of their beings, thus ****** them hostile and dangerous to other Post-humans). Duoluozongs remain in that world where they have adapted to suit that environment, and Post-Humans must survive 14-months in each New World before being transported to their next one at random (only exception is an ability dubbed "Consular Officer" where they generally cannot adapt any further once they develop this ability, but they can issue "Visas" to other worlds, a few months before the onset of its Post-World, to others besides themselves). I suck at reviews, but just know that I rate it highly. I like it so much that I vote for it on the power ranking every time so more people can read it.
