I'm genuinely having a blast with this fanfiction. Among all the One Piece stories I've read, it ranks second, with God of Soul System being number one, of course. The storyline is exhilarating, and I appreciate how he's connected with Zoro and Ace, their camaraderie is hilarious to witness. It's refreshing to see him not be overpowered to the point where victory is guaranteed against formidable foes; instead, it keeps me on the edge with suspense, wondering how he'll manage to survive each encounter. Although his system is centered around wealth, which can be annoying at times, he's strategic and tries to enhance his abilities using his resources. He aims to strengthen himself organically, using the system as a catalyst, even though it's a money pit. His progress is remarkable, earning him the nickname "monster." I really enjoy this story, and despite initially giving it a lower rating, I'm definitely boosting it up now.
Honestly yes, but, the first arc of Shadow Slave gave me enough goosebumps to be a forever dickrider of a possible one hit wonder author.

All his novels lack in romance
Well after reading top novels, all other novels feel like pot full of holes but this still remains iconic for me as this was my first Chinese/cultivation novel. I don't know why but I still enjoy many sections of this novel and can't stop smiling when thinking of them
To be honest, I really enjoy the storyline and its progression. However, I must admit that the author seems to lack some experience in crafting their work. There are instances where the plot shifts abruptly, leaving readers confused, and important details from earlier chapters are not adequately fleshed out in subsequent ones. Instead, new scenes are introduced, creating a sense of inconsistency. Some chapters feel rushed, lacking depth and vividness, while others have poor pacing or unexpected twists that left me slightly bewildered, like when the protagonist's father suddenly appeared to confront the dragon on its way to the academy.
Despite these flaws, I still find the overall concept intriguing, particularly the idea of a character undergoing multiple reincarnations or transmigrations, initially struggling but eventually becoming a god-like genius. This contrast between the主角's initial weaknesses and their eventual growth is what draws me in. I appreciate the dynamic where a less experienced character faces off against a formidable opponent, setting the stage for continuous learning and self-improvement.
In terms of rating, I would give it a solid 5 if not for the writing issues. Unfortunately, the current execution prevents me from giving it anything higher than a 3.5.
