Great story of survival and the power of love.

That was amazing! It was so much fun to read. I also like that your FMC has a normal physique and still manages to win Prince Charming. #wishfulfillment
So hooked by this book and the character interactions!

I prefer the old cover
Firstly, let's address the central topic of discussion among reviewers: the story revolves around revenge, and yes, it does involve a fair share of brutality and sadistic elements. The protagonist indeed engages in numerous confrontations, both lethal and involving torture, but it's important to clarify that it's not gratuitous violence or exploitation (as seen in some other works).
In my view, while I don't mind a certain level of violence, this novel has its fair share, but the main character isn't portrayed as a mindless killer. They don't resort to violence at the slightest provocation, which sets it apart from some other revenge-themed novels (like those found in the light novel genre with over-the-top reactions).
Compared to "Nidome no Yuusha," the gory aspects are toned down, along with the excessive chuuni (magical girl) and angsty elements. This makes the story feel more grounded and relatable. The drama and psychological turmoil, though present, are woven throughout genuine character interactions, preventing the MC from being a one-dimensional revenge machine. The comic relief moments fit well within the narrative.
The translation quality is satisfactory, with occasional errors and awkward phrasing, but overall, it's easy to read. The story's premise is intriguing, and the pacing keeps the reader engaged. However, there are a few forced interactions, but so far, the author has managed to steer clear of creating a harem dynamic. That's why I deducted a star.
The protagonist's family life in the story is a continuous series of superficial, predictable events until the main character (ML) comes to her rescue, where her unique abilities help her gain acceptance among his community. While ML displays an overly supportive attitude towards the MC, which might seem unrealistic considering his background and lack of familial and social support, the other characters in the story adhere to one-dimensional stereotypes.
The plot follows tired cliches, lacking depth and originality. Each chapter is quite brief, typically taking only 1-2 minutes to read. The author's website is plagued with intrusive pop-up ads, making it somewhat inconvenient for readers. The text itself is readable, but it would greatly benefit from more proofreading to address inconsistencies in pronoun usage and a clear transition between first and third person perspectives, which can disrupt the flow of the narrative.
What the hell is this comment section?
Are you all actually brain dead?
This site is maintained by basically only NetherClaw and maybe 1-2 friends of his.
You are consuming stuff for free and probably even use an addblocker.
And still you have the audacity to complain about no new novels and state wrong information about the site dying.
Go read the other thousands of novel that are here instead of waiting for those 10 release per month.
You guys are trash.
