This book is amazing so far. Saree always puts a lot of details into her books to make you feel like you're there. I can't wait to find out what happens as the book progresses.

As one progresses through the pages, the initial excitement wanes, giving way to a repetitive narrative that suggests a formulaic storyline. It's apparent that the author resorts to familiar themes, lacking originality in the storytelling. In terms of writing, it holds up decently against other Japanese literature, with a clear translation that's easy to follow. However, the main character fails to resonate, as his character development doesn't adhere to the conventional wisdom that "time shapes a person." Despite being well over a century old, his behavior remains juvenile, and the attempts to rationalize it feel contrived and unconvincing.
I truly enjoy this; the characters are captivating, and the storyline is exceptional. What draws me in is the gradual revelation of the reason behind the main character's reincarnation or transportation, rather than it being a simple, arbitrary explanation. The MC's determination to transform a grim horror game into a positive outcome resonates with me, as it contrasts with the typical grimness of the genre. I appreciate the concept of Alice, who turns fear into fun and horror into adventure, ensuring her companions' safety despite the dangers, akin to a thrilling amusement park experience.
In contrast to many horror films where protagonists struggle to overcome supernatural entities, often only achieving temporary victories, I prefer stories where the hero prevails and finds happiness. Real life has enough hardship, so I seek solace in fiction that offers satisfying endings for its characters.
While there have been casualties in recent chapters, overall, this story remains gentler compared to other horror narratives I've encountered. In essence, I appreciate the balance struck between tension and hope, making it a refreshing read.
The character design and overall vibe are adorable and entertaining. I really appreciate the ML and MC's dynamics. However, the international plot falls flat with an unfortunate level of cringe. It's as if the author hasn't familiarized themselves with foreign cultures, and the portrayal of ethnicity is off-putting, verging on ethnocentric stereotypes. My personal experience in China taught me that when I was a noticeable minority there, I still encountered locals, but the narrative here vastly exaggerates the lack of Asians in English-speaking countries. In reality, every place I've visited has a higher level of cultural diversity compared to what's depicted. Despite its significance to the story, I wish the author would have taken more cultural sensitivity into account.

I absolutely adore this story. It's so realistic, unlike other manhuas where characters have super strength or a system to guide them with knowledge about the new world. I love the character growth and how they fall deeply in love with each other. The female lead definitely undergoes the most significant character development. Can't wait to read more!
