"Eminos!"
The stakes in this story are quietly escalating and I am NOT okay with how well it's being done. On the surface, the conflict seems simple: a transmigrated cook tries to survive in a palace while impressing a suspicious prince. But dig a little deeper and there are SO many layers of tension here. First, there's Yao Chengcheng's secret. She KNOWS what happens in the future. She knows Fu Yuanzheng will recover and seize the throne. She knows the young ladies from that earlier scene weren't executed—they were sent back. She's walking around with information that could get her killed if the wrong person found out. And the most dangerous part? She's starting to care about him. Every time she sees him in pain, every time she hears the doctors say his legs can't be cured, she wants to tell him the truth. But she can't. That internal conflict is agonizing to read about. Then there's Fu Yuanzheng's suspicion. He's not stupid. He noticed that Yao Chengcheng's food is the only thing that doesn't trigger his aversion. He's wondering what her real motive is. Is she a spy? A competitor's plant? Someone the Yao family sent to manipulate him? The text makes it clear: "If she had no ulterior motives, how could a person change so drastically in such a short time?" He's been betrayed before. He has every reason to be paranoid. And yet—he keeps giving her chances. That's the conflict right there: his instinct says danger, but his experience says this person might be different. The scene where the teacup shatters inside the room? That was CHILLING. You could feel the tension through the wall. The prince is furious, not at Yao Chengcheng, but at his own powerlessness. His leg can't be cured. His body has betrayed him. And all he can do is scream and break things. Yao Chengcheng hears it and her first reaction isn't fear—it's anger ON HIS BEHALF. "They're talking nonsense!" She's already emotionally invested, and she doesn't even realize it yet. The external stakes are also rising. The Yao family sent her with an agenda. The imperial physicians have given up on him. There are political forces at play that Yao Chengcheng is only beginning to understand. And Fu Yuanzheng—once a god of war, now a man in a wheelchair—is trying to hold onto power while his body fails him. The question isn't whether he'll succeed. The question is what it will cost him, and what it will cost HER, along the way.
Upon seeing blood, the others attacked more and more ferociously, to the point where no one realised Li Tengfei had retreated and was waiting for an opportunity. A few seconds later, an opportunity indeed presented itself. However, the masked man still believed he had the upper hand and could crush them at any moment, and he prepared to reveal his trump card.
Since the curse of being last in rank is finally lifted, Aeron bolts toward Johnrey's ice body and wails while embracing it. Kriz tearfully walks toward Aeron and tells him how sorry she is. Then, Aeron stands up and walks toward the entrance. Without looking at Kriz, he utters a heavy "You will pay for this."

"No I don't have an appointment but I do have this letter." replied Keanu with an embarrassed face as he took out a sealed envelope which was addressed to "Albert Noble".
He also summarised the current situation, the location of Arlene, now designated as a secondary target and added that in the event that the watch had forced her to empty her bag, she would hold little value, but if they determined if they couldn't find that evidence logged during the attack- she would once again be considered a priority target. Having compressed his observations and intention into as brief a report as he could, he stuffed it into the bottle, and inserted the cork.
