Tear up in sadness and pride, as you see other pro gamers and Ye Xiu trade their everything for their team's future. Piece together unwritten bonds and relationships as the past of each character is revealed. Enjoy the heart-pounding-ness and exhilaration of winning, as though the achievements in the story are your own. Hear your heart break, at the burdens some carries. And watch as Ye Xiu struggles from an abyss to the heavens!I personally think this story would resonate more with athletes or people who wholeheartedly competed/competes. Since they would understand what it means to throw one's self to bask under the light of victory. It's always in their hearts what it means to keep finding another goal and surpass it. But generally, I think everyone would enjoy the journey of Ye Xiu's ascent to his rightful throne.

Another amazing book from muse
Okay so the moment where Yan Changye drops 'since when did the young mistress acquire an elder sister?' is absolutely legendary. Like, the Liu family thought they were being sneaky about elevating Liu Mingyue while subtly putting Liu Xiyin down, and Yan Changye just... exposed the whole thing in one sentence. The author set this up so perfectly by having Yan Changye investigate Liu Xiyin's behavior at the Liu residence beforehand. We already know from the adjutant's report that Liu Xiyin barely interacted with Liu Mingyue, that the hairpin incident was a misunderstanding, that all those rumors were baseless. So when Bai Manman tries to frame her again with the vomiting accusation, we as readers are like 'we already know she's innocent, watch this play out.' That dramatic irony is so much more satisfying than the usual 'everyone believes the lie' trope. Also the jewelry theft subplot is brilliant worldbuilding for the Liu family's dysfunction - a hairpin from a pavilion, two similar styles, and the whole city treats it like a scandal. These people have way too much time on their hands.
