Subjective review:
I enjoyed the story, but it feels like each arc leaves things open-ended. I’m accustomed to other QT novels that provide closure by mentioning what happens to most of the characters, giving a bit of information about the protagonist’s descendants, or showing the impact the protagonist had on the future of the world. When this novel didn’t do that, I felt a bit frustrated. I want to know more! Tell me more!
I stopped reading at chapter 20. I understand that some romances can be slow-burn, but in this case, I didn't feel any chemistry between the two love interests (the parents), nor between them and their time-traveled child. To be honest, the male lead is just a typical annoying douche. While the other characters could have been interesting, they felt flat and unengaging. Additionally, the kid, who is the main character, seems completely irrelevant to the plot involving his parents. It really makes you wonder why his time travel was even a plot point in the first place.
Anyway, that's why I discontinued reading this. Hope it helps you decide whether to read it or not...
P.S. Can we talk about the fact that him traveling back 16 years would logically bring him to the day of his birth, not to his parents' high school days? I know it's a small detail, but it really bothered me every time it was mentioned in the story, and it was mentioned quite a lot. Maybe his parents did have a child at a very young age, but it seems like this aspect wasn't well thought out.
I came here after reading the Manhwa, it has 66 chapters and I guess its around 95~ chapters for the novel.
I think they're saying its lacks it's on personality. It's a copy of other related works. ?♂️

im currently on chapter 11 and i just can't help but say, the writing is horrendous... either original ver is really bad or translation is trash.. author used mc's chinese name and then suddenly changing to his american name.. dialogues are quite bland but i am hoping for improvements as i read further
