I like this, but god damn it’s so slow. 27 chapters in and he is still level 1. There are things that don’t make sense, the first is his attitude towards the king. He was a gamer not Indiana Jones or James Bond, he comes off as rude and impatient something I feel an achievement hunter wouldn’t be. He is way to composed in his first meeting with a king, he isn’t at all surprised about his situation, and while it’s understandable that he doesn’t want to become someone’s servant after just arriving in an unknown world. It’s like he doesn’t imagine what type of power brought him here, and who holds the true authority over his life. Like come on do you really think a king would let you waltz out of his castle, if he had the power to bring you there, you’re expendable. It does state that it cost a lot of wealth and resources and that the chances of summoning is basically 1/5, that’s better than most loot boxes for legendary skins.TLDR great premise, execution of characters is lacking, world building is thought out, cliche in that he is going to be fighting against a super power on first arrival.

If you want to describe this novel in a word it would be FUNNY!It's very well writen, the beggining is quite cliche but afterwards it walks an individual path (of glory), the system and the battles are good, the world building isn't perfect but it's very solid and has potential. The characters are one of it's strongest points, they aren't 1d but have personality and they are unique.Something uncommon is that it's not a pure Xuanhuan story( at least in the first couple hundred chapters) but also involves strategy and politics, but not too much to make it boring, the author does a superb job keeping a good balance.The translation quality isn't bad, it's just that the former one was better, but it's improving!
It's a great story and the world building is amazing.My problem is:1.There is so much things happening at the same time. Seems Like the mc will never get good rest... he is always in danger.. It feels a bit stressful even for the reader. 2.Suddendly the mc is jumped from the 1st to 9th stage and the only struggle is THe breakthrough in major realms.. and that's ok but you ShoUld'Ve focused more at the progress between minor stages. Gotta say story was a good turn off your mind and read type except of you want a clear image on your mind. Overall the ending was forced and only the ending. If anything you'll just need morw of this
refreshing novel. the first sports genre qidian novel I ever read. in chapter 1 the translation is nice and the editing is good, at least for me. cant wait to continue reading this novel. and to those saying its insult to sport lol read the book first before saying anything. if you still insist to doesnt like this novel then i suggest you don't read it
