It shuts up his parents about marriage AND disgusts Lin Lumi. Two birds, one stone. The servant literally says it doesn't seem worth it, and I was like... actually it IS worth it, and here's why. The genius of this plot is that it's not a romantic gesture at all. It's pure spite weaponized into imperial law. And Lin Lumi's reaction in the carriage? "It's fortunate that it's just a bestowal and didn't require us to set a wedding date, or I'd truly be played to death by him." That line is everything. She's not mad — she's impressed against her will. That's the kind of plot writing that respects the reader's intelligence. But then Hua Tian shows up and drops the bomb that she knows about the marriage contract. How?? It was ordered privately within the palace. This is where the plot gets interesting — someone leaked this information, and I'm already suspicious. Is Hua Tian just well-informed, or is there a mole? The author is clearly setting up a web of information and secrets that's going to matter later. Also, the fact that the Yue Kingdom suddenly got FIVE recommendation quotas instead of the usual ONE is a detail the book throws out casually but I'm convinced is a plot thread that will pay off. Why the change? What's different this time? I need to know. And then — the Lingling Sect's Mysterious Law Hall. The book cuts off right as Hua Tian notices something strange about it. Classic cliffhanger energy. The author knows exactly how to keep you turning pages. So here's my question: is Mu Heng's contract move actually a strategic masterstroke, or is he accidentally locking himself into something he can't escape? Because from where I'm sitting, this boy is playing 4D chess while everyone else is still learning the board. Who else is here for the plot twists or am I the only one losing sleep over this?

I had high hopes for Seven Seven Seven as a fan of both Transmigration and Extra character stories. However, after going through the available chapters, I found myself disappointed. While the premise is intriguing, the story feels sluggish.Story: 4/5 - It's nothing super unique so far, although there are definitely things that suggest the uniqueness later on. For instance, the seven of everything, etc. The world right now is rather vague.Characters: 3/5 - So far, Eden, Lythian, and Iria is acceptable. But Seven, on the other hand, lacks depth. I just couldn't dive myself into his shoes, but I also cannot dislike him. His characterization is mid and very weird. His speaking style using 'Fudge' and actions during the story is just downright mid.Grammar: 5/5 - The grammar is very sublime. I haven't found any errors so far. It is evident that the author is trying his best to upload the best quality.Overall: 8/10 - It had potential, but it's 50-50 wheter it could achieve it. I know you're a newbie, but I don't care. If you want to say something, prove me wrong. Make this a successful book and slap my face.PROVE ME WRONG.

I have read a massive amount of novels on this app and other places and to be honest the writing quality and development of both the story and MC is incredible. Truly an amazing novel that I would recommend to any one if my friends or others.
