Read to support my novel...️...
Beautiful writing style, I'm so proud of this writing ??
can't wait to see the IRA in action!
It was a great book. I would have liked a little more depth to the secondary characters. A best friend was killed, a world of vengeance is promised, then nothing. We learn about the « rogue » gang she lives and trains with, but they never do anything. But overall, the story and characters are great!
where's flint's story? it's unfair that you write for Liam and Isabel and not flint
The story is lovely and authentic. Keep writing author! Can't wait to read your other works...
to the author.. I hope you are ok. just checking on you
Wouldn’t recommend. It is very difficult to read. It’s hard to figure out exactly what the author is talking about. There is definitely a lot lost in translation. Couldn’t even finish it.
very good story
'Are Zombies possessed by flies or mosquitoes?' I literally laughed out loud at this. The emergency kit contains SIX GOD essential balm—an actual Chinese brand—and the instruction sheet says Infected individuals are repelled by the scent. This is the kind of absurd, specific detail that makes worldbuilding feel real. It's not some generic 'special serum' the government invented. It's cheap mosquito repellent that happens to work against zombies. That's hilarious and terrifying at the same time. The changing news anchors is another detail that gives me chills every time I reread it. You know those faces—familiar, trusted, the same people who've been on TV for years—and suddenly they're back, one after another, delivering increasingly strange instructions. 'Reinforce your doors and windows. Avoid getting too close to others. If an Infected appears, isolate them separately.' The normalcy of the delivery makes it worse. I also love the neighborhood scene where Feng Qingyue and Shu Dabao go downstairs and hear the clanging and buzzing. Some households are already installing security bars. The crowd at the property management office—people complaining, discussing prices, talking about being ripped off by unscrupulous merchants. This is a community in microcosm, and the breakdown of normal social contracts is already happening. The fact that they can't even get proper security doors installed because installers are scarce? That's the slow unraveling of society right there. And the ending of Chapter 4—'That night, the sounds of clanging, banging, and buzzing echoed intermittently thro...' The sentence literally cuts off. The world is still making noise. People are still trying to survive. The atmosphere is thick with unease but also with this strange normalcy—kids watching cartoons because the authorities left them as a 'handy tool to pacify children.' Dark. So dark.
