Seeing the table full of Class 2 Monster Cores, all the teachers on the platform were stuck in a daze. Even the students below the platform that could see what was going on at the table had expressions of disbelief, as if they had just witnessed an unfathomable scene.
When they would wake up, they would all have the temporary strength boost of feroos bloodlust qi strands, the soul emblem strengthening power of the soul stone, and the bonuses of every single non-origin soul emblem that derived itself from their origin soul emblem. However, no bonuses were to be had for now however, as all the soul power from the chilchin was exhausted in this massive deviance, having none left to actually strengthen their soul emblems.

The short story will continue to be the staple of the one-semester literature course, and rightfully so, but for those instructors who would like to add a longer piece or two without committing to a full-scale novel, the in-between stories I've suggested are worth consideration. Of course, my list is far from exhaustive and there are many more fine works whose lengths fall in that gray area betwixt story and novella. Teachers have to beware of publishing tricks and traditional perceptions. They have to look between the covers of the book to decide if it is a length their students can manage. They very well may discover what Forster described as a "beautifully shaped" work whose "final effect is pre-arranged. . .and is completely successful when it comes" (153). A gift well worth sharing with students of literature.
The thunderclap crackles from afar. The accumulation of the rainwater has finally flown down to the earth in torrents towards the river behind the group… The group that Alan belonged to was the most mysterious organisation, with all of its member being masters of their crafts and fighting techniques, including even people with special talents. Alan is the best assassin the organization to have ever since it's founding and is one of the strongest person of the organization. By ordinary means, it is impossible for Edward along with another six members of the organization to defeat Alan. However, the organization had hundreds of hit men that ** has been dispatched to kill Alan for the last three months or so. The long cat-and-mouse chase has started to wear Alan's soul and body down, after going through large and small scale fights for a few hundred times. His body has already suffered from grave wounds, so right now, how can he fight against the great geniuses of the organization , with Edward as one of their leaders?
