This novel ended in 2013, holy sh*t. It's really an ancestor for other great novels in similar style. I'm checking out WMW to see the similarities next time.

I completely resonate with the comment that the ending feels somewhat rushed. If the author could delve deeper into the protagonist's past life in the martial arts world, such as her master's background, the circumstances surrounding her poisoning, or even the connection between the city lord and her adoptive father, it would significantly enhance the story's appeal. It would be fantastic if these additional details were fleshed out in either the main narrative or as side stories. I believe that would lead to more readers awarding this story a full five-star rating.
I truly enjoyed this book; it has found its unique spot and excels within it. Although there were moments when the drama became excessive, I couldn't resist the charm of the heroines' repeated apologies to Frey, even if it was a little repetitive. The novel ingeniously keeps the revelation of the main protagonist's non-evil nature fresh by exploring various unconventional means, such as alternate timelines, past regressions, and system simulations.
The plot, however, was somewhat convoluted and奇特, particularly with the concept of Black Tail Fantasy as a game and its connection to Earth. The existence of a debugging room where one could manipulate the world's code left me scratching my head – was the novel a simulation? My understanding of the story suffered due to reading it through machine translation, which didn't help with clarity.
There was one particular scene that, if I had grasped its significance, would have been highly impactful. Unfortunately, my lack of comprehension led to a less satisfying climax. I won't fault the book for that, as it's more a limitation on my part.
Lastly, there were instances where the narrative veered into explicit content, which was unexpected. Overall, despite these challenges, I still found the novel engaging and enjoyable, despite its quirks.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting the story to be so slow and filled with filler content. Although the main character (ML) is exactly the type I usually enjoy, being incredibly protective and devoted to his partner, I couldn't find much enjoyment in this novel. After reading 20 chapters, it felt repetitive, and I don't have the patience to endure the drawn-out pace.
The fact that the ML constantly doubts the MC's amnesia and accepts her manipulations doesn't resonate with me either. It raises the question – what exactly draws you to her? The author's habit of incorporating fictional within the story, which isn't my cup of tea, further contributed to my dissatisfaction.
In conclusion, I think this book might not be the right fit for my preferences.
