The cold wind blew on her face as she struggled to keep warm. Darkness was closing in on her as she slowly lost feelings in her fingers and toes. She cursed at the heavens for her current wretched state. Staring out into the open area, she looked once more and though to herself. Why is love forbidden, what wrong did we do? Why must we be separated before we were together? With one last breath, she blacked out.

Lady Catherine approached her daughter and guided her towards the large sofa. Her two sons followed and sat on the other sofa in front of her trembling daughter.
Her skin was as white and milky as a pearl, her red cupid bow lips looked soft and plum, she had a cute button nose, long and silky onyx hair, and cute pointy ears that made you think of a pixie.
"Late again, huh?" Jacob whispered.
"No sir, I did that on my spare time, when the work for the day was over and the calculations required completed," I'm starting to really like this guy, his wording leaves a bit to desire, especially 'use her', but as I do the same, I think we can't just as well 'use him'.
