I was thrilled to learn about the translation of the light novel. I sincerely hope that the translation team continues their work as soon as the next manga chapter is released, ideally at a pace that keeps up with the web novel's progress. In terms of content, the novel resonates with me personally, but I believe the author could enhance the portrayal of their Japanese adversaries by making them appear more devious and rational, which was a bit frustrating in the web novel version due to their simplistic and illogical behavior.
I can't deny that this was the initial spark for my interest in Chinese novels. It was my first ever BL novel, but I can't truly claim it as such since I haven't completed it. Four years later, I decided to give it another shot by rereading, but unfortunately, I find it challenging to push through to the end. The storyline is abysmal, the main character comes across as foolish, and the constant changes in the translation team have only made the experience more disappointing.

it’s a pretty good novel. my only complaints are 1) it feels like a rip-off from It’s Not Easy to be a Man After Travelling To The Future, 2) the over-exaggeration can be pretty annoying, and 3) the way some things are said or how thoughts are presented feel weird, unrealistic. other than that, it’s a good novel. however, i personally am dropping it because it feels too alike to the novel I mentioned above. to anyone else who hasn’t read it, or doesn’t care about the similarities, as long as you like sci-fi mech stuff, it’ll be an enjoyable read for a while.
best story and plot i ever read. kudos to author hope to read more of her other work.
