A straight up good read, at least for the nineteen chapters trail read gives. A slow burn for sure without the instant power up a system novel gives, but this gives it strength in it's world building. His 'cheat' gives access to pills and item's, along with cultivation arts. But none suddenly give a boost to some random new stage of cultivation the author had pull out their butt to try and keep the reader going. This is a great thing! Without the huge focus on what realm the MC has reached, we skip the enemies he faces randomly popping up with stupidly high realms for him to miraculously overcome. We get actual story! A empire, a village, an event, and what's happening in them and to who, all deliver a depth I wish I could see more often. Chapters are long and kept me reading far longer than other stories. I've dropped stories faster than I got thru the first ten. The there's not much of the character spelled out for you. You will have to look at the actions and decisions to see the peoples character, as in the MC isn't going to just stop the tale and wax poetic about his morals and goals. It's been so long since I've read a story not seemingly written as a rough draft, this is the closest to an actual novel.

It's a good novel. If you look past the obviously rushed first chapter, there's nothing terrible about it.
Writing quality 5*- Apart from the first few chapters, the grammar is good. Even those first few chapters are better than a good majority of the novels I've read on here. Though the grammar could always improve, 5 stars, for now, seem appropriate.
Stability of updates 5*- Simple. The author releases at least one chapter a day.
Story development 5*- It's too early into the novel to really say but for now I think it's going in the right direction.
Character design 5*- Is going in the right direction. The characters and their reactions are genuine enough for a work of fiction and I got nothing to complain about. I enjoy Johnathan and the other twos characters. I also like their powers. Again, I have nothing to complain about.
World Background 4*- This is by far the worst thing in this novel. However, that's compared to everything I reviewed so far. The world-building isn't bad but so far nothing's really shown how the world changed since the start. But I can understand why nothings really been said. in the novel, not much time has passed. Around 1 or 2 days. Which isn't long at all. So I have hope that once more time passes, the author will explain how everything changed and focus more on world-building.
So that is my review. I hope this is helpful to those who are hesitant or are debating on whether to read. It's a good novel, but it's a bit early to decide and give a definite score. However, everything said, I believe the novel is quite promising. With the small teasers the author gave in the beginning, I doubt it'll only be zombies.
Overall, I say this novel is a 4.8. It could go up or down, but for now, I say it's a reasonable score.

is really unnecessary and the first chapter could be make up better. The author didn't do daily update like what his profile would say so I don't really likes where it was going.
I won't stop you all who reading this from trying this book, it's just a matter of preference. So much for first winner of wpc.
