He actually found the method Michelle used to crown herself as the queen regent to be quite hilarious since in essence, her method was practically the same as Maxwell's method.
"Leilani, sweety it's time to go.... Leilani? Leilani?! Oh Leilani! What are you doing it's time to go see Mama Livy, I thought you were excited to go see her today?" A fair skinned woman said as she opened the bathroom door.
''You guys sure do indulge your self in self fantasies. Do you think you can easily handle us Demons and take your lands.'' An arrogant voice resounded through the air linger in the ears of the entire army.
"Believe?" Zi Wu's one laugh brought along a round of coughing fit, the surrounding people busying to feed him water, after a very long time, does he finally settle down, looking out the windows, saying, "It is but a ray of obsession that cannot be put down. Always fearing when it's time I go down, she has not waited for me. Always wanting to get a little look of her now, only then would my heart be at ease."
solid story but mc is all over the place just couldn't get behind his character.
After almost 600 chapters, I'm finally writing a review ?Before I begin, let me just say that I am picky asf when it comes to reading books; I read about 60+ books before I find a book that is worth my time/coins/FP. Also, this is probably the second review l've written in my 4 or 5 years on WN.—————————I frigging LOVE the book! I came over from Nanomancer when I found out that Reili had started this book, when it had about 30ish chaps.—It has a pretty unique setting for the world.—A power system that I've not seen many times before in books, and certainly not in the way that Reili set up/used it. No, there is no "System" even though it may feel like that at the beginning of the book.—You can see the amount of time and effort Reili spend and still spends on worldbuilding the world at the beginning is already pretty well layed out, and the further you get in the book, the more expansive the world gets in both size and history. The same goes for the characters. It is noticeable that (most) characters are really thought about before they get introduced, which causes them to have depth. Even background characters have depth to them, although it is, of course, less than the important/recurring characters—There is a good, solid main plotline that hooks into pretty much every subplot that the book has - even if it doesn't look like they are connected at all. Besides that, the main plotline is also constantly getting bigger and more complex (not in a bad way!) the more the story goes on and the more you and Alice (the MC) learn about the world. Because Alice practically starts off with zero knowledge about the world, social etiquettes, etc. This makes that when you find out about something, it is usually at the same time as Alice, which makes it easier to connect/relate to her, in my opinion.—Alice (the MC) is crazy in a good way; not mentally unstable (allegedly), she doesn't kill (or torture) just for the fun of it. But she is crazy in how she fights, how she thinks about things, and also, she is pretty much an alcoholic. She also (luckily) isn't dumb. She learns fast - which is actually a major trait of her character. I could tell you more about her, but Reili is much better in telling you about her than I am, so yea.—Quality of the writing itself is also superb in my opinion. Sure, there are typos in the book, but they are so few that it's not even worth mentioning, since everyone can trip up. Reili also doesn't use unnecessary niche or "smart words" to sound smart. Words that are used sound natural, and garbled, stroke-inducing sentences are non-existent.All in all: a 5/5 book that is worth every coin and fast pass i spend on it, a book thats in the top 1% of the top 1% of books of WebNovel in my opinion.
I need to just appreciate the visual storytelling in these chapters because the author is a genius at creating atmosphere. Let me paint the scene for you: An Li is standing at a tall studio table, pen and paper in front of her, looking like she's working. Underneath that same table, Duan Zhuo is kneeling on the cold marble floor in his tailored trousers, having been literally shoved there by her slender arms. Above them, Wen Shuyi in her pink skirt is chatting casually about milk tea orders. The reader is simultaneously looking at three different layers of reality in the same space. The author uses the physical environment to create tension masterfully. The table is marble—solid center, not hollow. This means Duan Zhuo has VERY limited space. If Wen Shuyi had taken three more steps forward, she would have seen him. The author makes us feel the suffocation, the cramped space, the impossibility of the situation. And then An Li feels something brush against her ankle. Is it him? Did he touch her on purpose? The ambiguity is delicious. The studio setting itself is also worth noting. It's a creative workspace—instruments being tuned, people writing music, the casual chaos of a band environment. This makes the confrontation in the earlier scene even more public and humiliating for An Li. Everyone is watching, everyone is judging, and the only person who sees through it all is the guy leaning against the wall drinking tea like he's at a café. There's also this beautiful visual contrast between Wen Shuyi's pink skirt and the cold, hard studio environment. She moves through the space with elegance and composure—"her every movement carried elegance and composure, her words were gentle and appropriate, leaving no room for criticism." She belongs in this world visually, which makes her betrayal more unsettling. She looks like she fits, but she's the threat. And Duan Zhuo under the table, having caught a glimpse of... let's just say "something," while also feeling An Li's ankle brush against his... the author doesn't shy away from the physical comedy and tension of the scene. It's funny, it's tense, it's romantic, and it's all happening in a single continuous shot that plays out like a movie.
The story is interesting and the process of things is neat. I find it a little bleh seeing everyone keeps asking MC for help. I mean after all they all just started the game. I'm looking forward to his final evolve and how his friends/team mates beasts come along.
Great potential only hope that you don’t take every scene too fast but really build a good foundation and step by step achieved a perfect story.
The author only uses question marks and random commas… doesn’t even use quotation marks for dialogue. This makes the story into a complete mess. Also, the chapters are really short like 4 chapters should be put together just to be a normal length. Don’t waste your time reading this mess.
Honestly your Fanfic is simply amazing, from start to end it was just incredible I particularly liked the chosen gender, just saying, the mc is not op but she's strong and I believe she can grow much stronger. And just one more thing, having 3 people together is not a harem so... You get me.
