Wow, that's a lot of chapters for free, I'll wait to accumulate more chapters to start reading (about 200 chapters) and after reading I'll delete this review and make another one to talk about what i read in the novel. I noticed that it's pretty empty here so consider this review my support, Good luck on your journey as an author ??
Have to ? but I definitely feel my writing has improved, but is also far from perfect. Just know, I am trying my best to create a great story for you to read :)Thank you so much for checking it out, and if you like it, please add it to collections and add a review. Heck. Leave a review even if you don’t, just let me know why so I could possibly fix it ?Despite my triggers, I will let you know, as one of my chapters say- no bad deed goes unpunished. ?

3 more minutes passed; Traey Rin's eyes lit up, shining with excitement, and the corners of his lips rose, forming a wide smile on his face. "Finally!" he couldn't help but shout out, and a series of notification messages flashed in front of him.
The apex in this forest was an owl who live on the biggest tree. That was awfully helpful in fact the price wasn't fair since they would be discovered anyway if he and Beatrice saw an owl they would run and spend no time to wonder whether they are going to fight the King or not.

Let me just say this straight: the stakes in this story are personal, domestic, and absolutely brutal. There are no armies marching or kingdoms at war—but the consequences of losing here are just as devastating. Yun Mu Jing's stakes are existential. She's the legitimate eldest miss of the General's Mansion, and everything is being systematically stripped from her. Her status as first daughter is already diminished—she's now the 'second miss.' Her living conditions are deliberately inferior. Her reputation is about to be destroyed by a fabricated scandal involving Prince Yu. Her engagement to the Crown Prince is being undermined by her own sister. If Si Yu's plan succeeds, Mu Jing won't just lose her home—she'll be married off to a womanizer as a way to contain the 'damage,' and she'll have no voice in any of it. Mo Han Zhao's stakes are moral. He's the Crown Prince, the most powerful man in the room, and he's been complicit in Mu Jing's suffering through silence and inaction. His conflict isn't external—it's the growing realization that he's the villain in someone else's story. The text makes this explicit when he thinks about how 'truly despicable' he feels. But here's the thing: feeling despicable doesn't change anything. That's the tension. Will he act, or will he just feel bad and send a servant with some fabric? Si Yu's stakes are survival. She knows, deep down, that her position as favored daughter is built on a lie. Mu Jing is the real blood heir. If Mu Jing fights back effectively, Si Yu loses everything—her status, her engagement, her family's love. That's why she has to destroy Mu Jing first. It's not just cruelty; it's self-preservation. The suspense is maintained because we know Si Yu is winning. Mu Jing hasn't fought back once. She's been patient, obedient, silent. And the reader is screaming at the page. That's effective conflict management—the tension comes from waiting for the other shoe to drop.
