I am going to read this since I don't have anything else to read
I like the writing and everything is good but for me, I feel like if he had a specific goal in life it would be better like an actor for example. Either way, I enjoyed it.
NEW CHAPTERS WHEN ?
yall dis good n plot is good but aint it feel a lil too much when her resolve keeps being talked about? like every chapter it mentions something along the lines of "blah blah blah difficulties is something she doesnt avoid in order to become a frontline soldier and don a military uniform" smt similiar like that ? like i luv me sum strong fl that works hard for their goals but they compliment n mention her goals + resolve sm that its starting to get to a point where its getting annoying n cringey (chap 500+) ? like wheres the struggle sis
Actually people say it's the anime that doesn't live up to the standard of the ln and specially manga. Though I find the ln a bit too unnecessarily detailed. But it's good I'd say.
It's a fun Xianxia novel, and compared to other novels in the category, like let's say Tales of Demons and Gods, Martial Peak or Apothesis, this works pretty well.
It's impressive how the academy story stands out, especially with the engaging characters. The interactions between the MC and them are well-done, although their constant praise of the MC can become grating after a while. In terms of storytelling, the progression is solid, but there's a minor issue with the lack of prominent male characters amidst an almost all-female cast.
Brody's character seems to attract women effortlessly, which becomes unrealistic quite quickly. The fight scenes are decent, but the MC's main ability could use some creative development given its 3-second cooldown. Despite these minor criticisms, I still believe the story is pretty good, thanks to the intriguing plotlines and memorable characters, primarily the three heroines and supporting actors. If you enjoy academy-themed stories and can overlook common tropes, I'd recommend giving it a try.
On a side note, it's surprising to see Bronny join the Lakers when I initially expected the Knicks to sign him. Watching LeBron with his son is inspiring, and I have to admit Jared McCain's suit at the event was the toughest. I'm really proud of my guy; he'll be doing fancy dances on the NBA court soon.
"\\"Let Me Game in Peace\\" is a captivating read that resonates with any gamer's struggle for tranquility in the digital realm. The protagonist's relatability and witty humor had me hooked from the first page. The author masterfully weaves a narrative that delves into the complexities of balancing real-life responsibilities with the allure of virtual escapism. It's not just a story about gaming, but a profound exploration of identity and the power of finding one's sanctuary in the digital world. A must-read for anyone who's ever felt pulled between the two extremes of reality and virtual reality.
I get your point too. I hope we can see some good romance in web novels. Funny thing, I have rarely seen a scuffle or fight between couples in most of the novels. It is enough to tell the standard of real romance here.
Edit: cross dressing as well. Seriously China humour…all China men are gay is that what they are implying lol a cross dressing water attributed(actually strong attribute but lame) tortoise themed low eq and cowardly yet vain mc..sigh I’m losing the strength to continue reading not to mention he’s a typical virgin author mc.
