Fallacy here, ignore the shameless 5 five star.I just want to write to make this a good novel and let my readers enjoy. But for those people that want a romance so desperately, I may not be able to provide in the early chapters. I also want to write a romance but from my past novels rushing it never once worked for me, I want to write an overpowered MC who kills a lot of people he doesn't like alright? So if I were to rush the romance and introduce a two-dimensional heroine no one will like that so please understand. I want to write romance as fast as possible but I also want to flesh out the MC (although I suck at doing so.)P.S. I like reading comments and reviews alike, whether it be trash talk or praise I always read all the responses that I get, especially the ones that point my mistakes that let me improve. This is a long rambling review.
Shameless Author here, with a shameless review.I wrote a novel recently, which is Call of Ring. It was my very first attempt at writing, and there may be some mistakes and errors in it, but I still feel extremely proud of it and enjoy it thoroughly. Please give my story a try and leave some comments for me. Thank you!https://rb.gy/5s05wc
It is an interesting story, but personally I would like to see more descriptive writing about the image of the character. How can I imagine what the character Is like and the setting too needs to be detailed. Other than that this story is nice and really look forward to reading more of it.
The introduction hooked me, and I got sucked into a world that was wonderfully described by your descriptive language and interesting plotline. Although there is the occasional odd switch to present tense, or the rare typo, it does little to take away from the story.Well done, author.
Writing quality is good has alot of potential and for the story it's very interesting where the MC is using hero status to reform a kingdom through strategy and technological development
I need to talk about Shang Qingyan's dialogue because this man is absolutely lethal with words and I am obsessed. The line that lives rent-free in my head is when he says: "Those who know might think Young Master Yu has ulterior motives. Those who don't might assume Young Master Yu is deeply in love with me — not only risking life and limb to save me but even calling my name in their dreams." Let me just sit with that for a moment. He is testing her. He is deliberately provoking her. He knows full well that Yu Ange is NOT a man and he is using this moment to see how she reacts, to push her buttons and watch her squirm. And the fact that he follows it up with "This prince is but a sickly body, barely clinging to life. Aside from this reason, I truly cannot think of anything else about me worth your attention" — that is self-deprecation weaponized. He's making himself sound pathetic while simultaneously saying "I know you want me and I know why you saved me and I'm not stupid." But what I love most is how the dialogue between these two operates on two levels constantly. Every sentence they exchange is literally about something else. When Yu Ange says "A sickly body isn't truly sickly, and a life of compromise isn't necessarily a life of compromise," she's not just talking about his health — she's telling him she sees through his entire performance. And his response of placing his hand on her neck? That's not a threat, that's intimacy disguised as violence. That is the entire relationship in one gesture. The narrative voice itself is also worth praising — it's sharp, it's observant, and it has this darkly witty undertone that matches the tone of the story perfectly. The author doesn't over-explain emotions; they let the dialogue do the work. When Shang Qingyan notices the straw on Yu Ange's collar and casually tosses it aside after the murderous tension, the narrative just says "As if the earlier murderous intent had merely been to help Yu Ange remove that piece of straw." That is such a perfect line. It captures everything about their dynamic in one sentence.
When I first started reading this the synopsis drew me in immediately, then I read the story and I had to add it to my library. Terra's journey will not disappoint you guys, the novel is amazing and the author is written this beautifully. Honestly, I'm a big fan.????????????
