how often is the update
don't want to get hooked before it is completed
The ... had great potential but ended so abruptly at chpt58 and have to wait until March/April to know what's happening and the writer doesn't update weekly nor everyday. After reading all that and don't mind a slow build then that's the book for you, go ahead and give it a try!!!
The story is interesting ...
No! They should do arrange marriage with Bryan. Then their feelings can grow for each other. She was feeling guilty about her feelings for him because Liz. If it was arrange marriage they can explore their feelings for each other.????
I really enjoyed it! The only downside (which was fortunately resolved by the author) was the moral dilemma of forcing someone to do something or act selflessly without knowing their background. However, forcing someone is never a good idea; everyone has their own thoughts and considerations that we cannot fully comprehend. So, it's essential to be understanding.
The storyline was engaging overall. The female lead (FL) wasn't initially overpowered, as she often struggled with insecurity and low self-esteem. The male lead (ML), typical of many Chinese web novels, started out as an overpowered character but eventually became devoted to the FL, almost like a loyal pet.
There wasn't much drama, internal conflicts, or confrontations. It was a genuinely relaxing and enjoyable read.
The start was good, but it just.. idk, not for me. Can't say its slow paced but it's not fast either. Good world building and characters but the story itself? it's just broing. In my opinion anyways. It's a good read for beginners but not for any intermediate level readers and above
It's ended?
Where the hell is the update
Im at chapter 8 and the translation is unbearable. Fellow brothers, does the translation get any better? If so, around which chapter? This novel seems good but the translation is making me want to drop it.
"This book is perfect for my taste! The storyline is engaging and the characters develop such a relatable charm. The translation is exceptional. I eagerly anticipate the continuation of the story."
As an avid reader, I found "The Sovereign of Death" to be a captivating and thought-provoking narrative. The protagonist's journey into the realm of the afterlife was both intriguing and emotionally resonant. The author's vivid imagination breathed life into a world where death held unexpected power, leaving me on the edge of my seat. The exploration of themes like mortality and the human spirit was masterfully woven, making this novel a compelling read that lingered long after the final page. A must-read for those who crave immersive storytelling with a touch of existential depth.
Honestly, the reviews explain what's wrong with it pretty well
