So AMAZING!! I really love this story. Worth every penny. You'll never regret, I swear! Great job author, as always! I read all your 4 books and I love them all.
Amazing story. Very unique plot and full of twists, but it's incredibly heartwarming throughout . I can't wait for more in the series
Okay so here's the thing that actually got me about this whole section—it's not even the main story of the medicine maiden itself, it's the BEHIND-THE-SCENES plotting that's doing the heavy lifting. You've got Ying Shi watching the filming, sure, but then BAM, the online feud with "For Your Sake" explodes again. The producer posts that ambiguous Weibo message and suddenly you're pulled into this whole parallel conflict that runs alongside the actual production. It's clever because it mirrors what Sanxiu faces in the story—external pressures, people trying to control the narrative, the gap between perception and reality. And then there's the plague demon subplot, which I didn't expect to be this narratively important. The way Song Zhizhi added that scene with Shen Xiao and Zhou Qingning just to "milk CP popularity" but ended up reinforcing the entire thematic core? That's not just clever writing, that's the author winking at us about how storytelling works. The heavenly general starts questioning the boundary between immortals and demons, which is literally the show's thesis statement. I love how the plot keeps layering itself—like every time you think you're just watching someone film a drama, there's another level of conflict underneath.
loving this story .........
