i think chinese author should learn when to stop... i mean, this novel is indeed good, but you don't necessarily have to write from childhood until godhood....thousands of chapters and at the end of the day, like 75% of the reader stop reading, not even halfway through. it started off real good but at some point, it just turned more and more ridiculous (atleast for me).
Honestly, I found the initial chapters engaging, but the pace started to decline. The story becomes tediously slow, and the translator doesn't help by halving lengthy installments and posting weekly, which adds to the frustration. My patience ran thin, so I sought out a rough translation on another site, and it exposed more issues with the plot. It's evolving into a format where the MC is gradually overshadowing the main character, which wouldn't be unbearable if it weren't for the excessive focus on detailing the thoughts of potential love interests as they daydream about our protagonist. Repeated chapters exploring the same event from different angles, filled with constant praise for the MC's charm, simply wore me down. In summary, while each element individually might not be terrible, their cumulative effect has led me to vent my dissatisfaction here.

No it's not a "goat" like you say it is. I am not saying that the novel or the ideas or plot is bad no they are awesome I loved everything about that novel until mc's character got so unbearable thar I quit it at around 500.
The mc is the biggest hypocrite when other people kill for aether they are bad but when he does it, it is out of necessity plus many more bad points regarding his group.
It needs more inner workings, like a lot of inner working. But honestly , it has potential , I will read it.
I was really let down by this story, especially after enjoying the author's other work, 'Anti-NTR Man.' Initially, it seemed like it was heading in a direction I liked, but it quickly took a turn for the worse. It felt like the story gave me hope and then just crushed it. I'm giving it 3 stars because the writing itself is solid, but honestly, I'm pretty disappointed.
