It starts out as smut with idiot MC, and (at chapter 137) ends with a hyper stoic MC that trusts no one. It feels like two different stories. The first couple of chapters it’s about the system he gets and by chapter 100 the system is completely forgotten. The characters are not fleshed out and emotions and deep painful subject matter is handled poorly.
First of all I’m caught up with latest chaps and it’s a really good novel if you like OP MCs , even more so with a world building that match his OP powers , usually authors who create OP MCs tries to nerf them halfway somehow to last longer or other characters to keep up because their world building isn’t adapted. In this one it’s not the case at all there’s many cultivation rank , diverse abilities , all the powers you would like to see also unique races a good lore. The main character anthorny null is relatable and likeable (one of the best op MCs I’ve read). Author also is constant with updates , many interesting characters and a loving family (breaking the "cold family" trope). When reading of you think some cliche will appear like playing the pig to eat the tiger , it won’t! MC likes to show off and yeah ofc he’s not using his full power on ants but it’s satisfying to read , there’s cool fights honestly became one of my favourite novels
