Archgate
I’ve always loved stories about espionage and mysteries. This novel is one of those stories. Plus the female lead is badass.
the ending was heartbreaking a very well written book
10/10. Excellent pacing, world-building, compelling characters, and an intriguing plot line.
Spoiler
The main character (MC) is a double agent dispatched by the alliance marshal to expose corruption within various government sectors. While the MC is overpowered, the method of unraveling the mystery is very realistic, featuring false leads and piecing together evidence scattered throughout the book. The romance develops naturally as the MC and the love interest (ML) grow closer while collaborating on the investigation. As they work together, the ML gets to know the MC better and faces life-and-death situations alongside them. This deepens their bond, ensuring they understand that each will stand by the other without hesitation, no matter what challenges arise.
Any news on this? I get that it's titled "the end" but I also see people saying hiatus so was it rushed to a decent stopping point? (It's been so long I gotta reread but left off at 101, but if it's on hiatus I'll wait to come back to this)
also why original site korean fans always gotta ruin fun things or anything that's nota op mc tower crawler
can you recommend me both?
Nice story but the author is finding any and every excuse for him to mingle with people when he can just avoid them. Its forced, idiotic, and the mc is always getting cooked by any random party no matter his level. Mages especially.
I enjoy this, just wish new chapters came out in a decent time frame
If you wondering whether you should read this novel or not, I say it’s worth your time. I love this novel, and I know a lot of people don’t but let me tell you why it’s good. First off it has a strong main character. Unlike many of the comments say he isn’t overpowered, at least not more overpowered than any protagonist would be. Second off, people complain this story doesn’t have an overarching plot but I think that’s what makes the story so good. It allows the story branch into multiple miniature plots at once which is equally entertaining. The novel also humorously references a lot of cliches in cultivation novels and does it well, which sets it apart from other novels. Overall I like the characters and the story is very well written. I highly recommend it, I enjoyed it a lot and I hope you do too.
I need more
ah that's unfortunate
although its not entirely wrong, the cultivation sistem takes forever to lvl up. by the time you gain any meaningful strength everyone else is dead so whats the point
When did I mention swimming?
I'll assume you are joking or maybe ignorant but 'cum' pronounced as [koom] is used in this context as a preposition. It means combined with or describing a thing with dual nature or function.
Thus 'vice-president cum co-founder' means that the person was the vice-president as well as co-founder.
It is vastly different from the vulgar slang 'cum' which means have an orgasm [verb] or semen [noun].
